Michael euthanized Terri's two cats that she adored because he was getting ready to live with his girlfriend at the time, Cindy Shook. Cindy had a dog. Alas, they decided not to move in together on the advice of Michael's attorney, because the malpractice trial was at hand, and it wouldn't 'look good'. Terri's cats were offed for no good reason. He didn't even try to place them with anyone. He tried to blame it on Mrs. Schindler but the vet admitted that the cats were put down on Michael's suggestion. This was way back in 1991 or 92 when he had it done.
