I don't know the legalities, but if Bush is contemplating it, here is why I doubt he would go ahead. There would be bloodshed there, I really believe. Armed men are everywhere and ready to resist any effort to save Terri. They are on and off duty police from Pinellas city and county. They are even posted just outside of and even inside Terri's room. Bush would worry that people would die, people besides Terri. Not only that, but he probably thinks the Dems would start impeachment proceedings immediately and turn this country into turmoil. And I think they would, too. Not that they would succeed but that the country would be in turmoil.

If Jeb Bush is worried about bloodshed over there, it's not because he has a vivid imagination. It is because someone actually told him already, that Greer would order the police to defy an illegal order of the governor. If...I'm saying if Gov. Bush has any such notice, he has an insurrection on his hands now. And it's all the more imperative that he respond forcefully.

IMO this is what he gets for asking "May I...?" to these demons in black robes. He is no leader.

Tick...tick...tick...ON...JEB'S...WATCH.

Good observation: I believe there would be shooting at the hospice if the National Guard came to retrieve Terri. So she is a captive of the radical left, and nothing can be done from a practical standpoint. There could be shooting like Fort Sumter, or the Mayaguez rescue effort, or even the Huey P. Long assassination.

Was watching the Brit Hume and Mort Kondracke sounds like he is coming over to our side.

Anyway, the Judge needs to get off his or her butt and make a decision.

And what is expected if Terri dies?

I pray Bush does move.
Harden the hearts of the Judicial Oligarchy.

If the Bushes (and it would be Jeb backed by George) are willing and forced to act it will stike judicial tyranny to the core. Even SCOTUS would not be able to make arbitrary decisions in the WoT without considering that if the President can make a case to 34 senators he is willing and able to defy them. Not since Andrew Jackson in 1831 has the Court had to consider the impact of its decisions. It would resonate for a century.

That is what could be at stake over Terri Schiavo.
