Ya know,
I wonder if those defending hino are simply comparing teri's situation to experiences of their own(ie an elderly relative or a friend with terminal cancer etc...) That being said, are they really defending their views from previous experiences of their own( which would be comparing apples and oranges, b/c every case is different.)in the process of doing this they are defending michael schiavo...probably reluctantly...but still identify with him b/c they think they had to make a similar decision at one point.
I agree. There is some transfer of guilt going on.
