Can you bother to explain how a private bill for the relief of one individual sets precedent when it is specifically designed not to do so?
You mean people on FR? FGS, that's not evidence he's lying.
Hell, just the few days I've been on these threads I've seen a hundred lies.
I wouldn't do it. My personal code of ethics do not allow for calling people and harrassing them.
But, he is now a limited public figure. If he is so stupid to have a listed phone number, he shouldn't be crying when he gets the hate calls.
That's not going to happen.
And I"ll say again, thanks for posting this.
If I may, though, I would like to speculate on one of the statements by his brother. It seems that each phrase from Greer, Felos, Michael, and his family has the same Clintonesque trait to it.
For instance...
"Because he's sticking by what he promised," Scott Schiavo, Michael's brother, said in a recent interview. "He wants to honor the last thing he can give to her."
Now, some may say, that is a complete lie.
I tell you you are wrong. He is not lying. It is what he didn't say that matters.
What did he promise Terri?
When was this promise made?
Maybe it was after he got the settlement money. Maybe something like.... "I told you when I got the money I would finish you off. And I mean what I say."
Michael may be the angel of mercy he so proudly profers to the court and the media.
Actions speak louder than words.
From what the article says it would appear that he did provide her therapy for some period of time.
In the beginning, they say, Schiavo was relentless in his search for his wife's cure. She underwent various therapies.
If you believed in God, then you would know He takes whomever He chooses at the time He chooses. As long as she's alive, He means for her to stay alive. Somehow I don't think you'd appreciate other people deciding when they think God wants to take you.
OH, don't forget that Michael himself originally said Terri would have wanted to live.
Then suddenly he changes his mind once he gets the cash.
I agree.I would hope that , god forbid I were ever in that situation that the wishes of myself and or family would be the ONLY factor involved and NOT something put forth by some political hack .They're all up there now trying to score political points and in reality could give 2 craps about this woman.I'm sorry but I have a massive mistrust of all politicians ( with a few exceptions).
well thoughtomator, maybe the time He chose was the judge's decision.
You are great, too Howlin.
Sorry for getting so worked up...I just get really, really worked up on this one.
I believe that is addressed under "Thou shalt not kill."
Yeah, I know; I've seen you........LOL.
or other people deciding when to stop God from taking you , following your logic.
I thought it was "thou shalt not murder". Least, I've heard alot of killing explained that way...

Sometimes I get to almost foaming at the mouth angry.
But, I do appreciate it when people correct anything I say that is wrong.
I do NOT like to be saying something that is incorrect.
I have never in all the years here a FR seen such an emotionally charged issue where I think givin the chance many here would gladly kill Michael. That is a sad and scary commentary.
It sure is; and it's being whipped up by special interest groups. MOO.
