Sorry, he's got his reasons for killing Terri, but one thing is for sure, it has nothing to do with his love, honor, or respect for Terri.
Even Judge Greer said the bone scans were "interesting." Not that he could see them very well.
The background of some of the folks in this case, the conflicts of interest in the hospice, county government, et al, are astonishing.
From quite a bit of reading, it looks to me like some backwater folks got together to make themselves a little money, using this case as a cash cow.
Living in an area much like Pinellas County, I know the kind of thing that happens when that happens.
Except, the concern over Terri expressed by her parents and others unexpectedly sent the whole blamed thing national.
Covering up chicanery -- not necessarily murder -- is the only thing that makes some of the unusual rulings in this case make sense.
It's all about following the money back to Pinellas County.
If he's sticking by what he promised and he is so honorable, how can he explain the 2 kids with another woman?!?!

Errr....the guys who got away with it are celebrities with money.
You know, its kind of sad when the holy roller crowd gets going and accuses some freepers here of "baby killing", yet they turn around and the first thing that they do is break a commandment themselves: do not bear false witness, which is what statements like yours lead up to. Don't start yelling "murderer"! or "adulterer"! unless you have 100% positive, verifiable proof of the crime. If he had done anyhting like that he would be in JAIL.

I wonder if those defending hino are simply comparing teri's situation to experiences of their own(ie an elderly relative or a friend with terminal cancer etc...) That being said, are they really defending their views from previous experiences of their own( which would be comparing apples and oranges, b/c every case is different.)in the process of doing this they are defending michael schiavo...probably reluctantly...but still identify with him b/c they think they had to make a similar decision at one point.
And it is possible.
I am one of those "in a snow bank in Alaska", but even from this cold perch I have been witnessing the discussions on FR regarding Terri Schiavo's situation. Thank you for posting this article. I know emotions are running high on these threads but from my snowbank, I can still see both sides of the issue. :)

BINGO! You have hit the nail on the head. This is the critical mistake that Greer made. All else hinges on it. No one seems to be able to correct this mistake within the Florida judicial system.
