She's dead. There are a few ways to decide if someone is dead and and brain activity is one of them. On her EEG she has no activity and she is down to primitive reflexes where her brainstem is the only thing intact. She shouldn't necessarily be starved to death but instead taken off the feeding tube and given a morphine drip that is absolutely humane in this instance.

So I assume that if you are ill, you don't want very many tests done? I you have a brain injury, shall you withhold having a PET scan to determine the extent of your damage?

The standard diagnostic tests for PVS are MRI and PET.which have been repeatedly denied to Terri.You don't know what you are talking about.
