No, I don't think so. They have rejected emergency appeals. Congress is now exercising constitutional authority - Article One Section Six ( From memory) gives the Congress authority to establish federal court jurisdiction.

That is all that is happening tonight.

And it is very important.

Yes. People forget this is exactly how it's supposed to work!

The courts punt, and the legislative branch steps in to address the problem.

We hold these truths to be SELF EVIDENT. (meaning there can be no judicial, congressional, executive review or interferrences) that all men are created equal and they are ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR with certain unalienable rights, among these are LIFE, liberty and the persuit of happeniness.

Also: Amendment XIV:

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
