You also have a problem with the Civil Rights Act of 1964? do you think state legislatures and state courts - in southern backwaters like Pinellas County - should still be allowed to legislate and enforce segregation? Congress violated their "rights" big-time when it forced them to stop. But that's the thing about the federal Constitution - - it can't be abridged by local politicians and judges; it puts human rights above "states' rights"
