Well .. to be fair .. Rush has said many times that to want that position you have to have a fire in your belly - and he claims that he does not have that desire at all.
So .. I'm fairly confident Rush is relieved he's not expected to take the helm.
I've heard Rush say more than once that he would never run--doesn't want to take the pay cut.
I know you are right, but can you imagine the apoplexy(sp?) the left would have if he strung them along for a couple of months? Some of the people would ACTUALY got to Canada instead of just talk about it. A few slit wrists here, a couple of jumpers there, and we might get our country back.
