I'm convinced that if had been "President Al Gore" who had responded to 9/11 in exactly the same way as President George W. Bush did, and with precisely these same results, you would have the old walrus, Teddy Kennedy, Nancy Pantsy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the whole bunch of anti-Bush obstructionists running around carping about what a historically GREAT STATESMAN their "President Gore" was, to show such political courage........and blah, blah, blah.

"President Gore" would also have gotten around to a major reform of Social Security in the U.S. and that too would have received a full court press by the Democrat leadership in congress, to promote such a "wise and visionary" agenda!

Their objections have to do with Bush - not the outcome of his bold international and domestic moves. If it had been Gore doing the same things, they would be on the other side of the fence.
