I am tired of some of you Conservatives lambasting this decision by the GOP to save her life. If she is allowed to die, a precedent of euthensia and eventually eugenics will be set. Do we want to turn into the Nazis? We would not let a dog starve to death, why would we let a human being?

Who are you directing this to? Me? Evidently you haven't read my posts. I am far from lambasting the decision by the GOP to save her life. I only wish I was in a position to remove her from the prison she is currently in. I do NOT want Terri to die. I offered my mass and Communion this morning for her to LIVE. L-I-V-E! Of COURSE we do NOT want to turn into the Nazis. That's what is happening now. That's how Hitler operated.

No, we would not let a dog starve to death and we do not want this young woman to starve to death either. We are doing everything we can by writing, calling, sending emails etc. to save her life.

Did you post this to the wrong person? Better check to be sure because you sure posted it to THIS wrong person.

Well, I am a conservative politically and an evangelical Christian and I, like millions of others, have a written document known in California as a "durable power of attorney" (or a "living will" in other states) directing my attorney in fact to see that I am NOT kept alive by force feeding and diapers for years when my brain is gone like poor Terri. [Her brain is gone G-O-N-E. Where her brain used to be, there is only spinal fluid. She has only a brain stem left.]

You folks can't keep your liberal "I know better" hands off her poor brain-dead body. Please try and keep it off mine. That is not life; it is a parody of life. All this new bill accomplishes is to make my heirs fight through state court and now through federal court and exhaust my estate with attorneys fees in order to get me home to Jesus. Everyone who has interfered with Terri's homegoing ought to wear diapers to bed tonight -- just to get a taste of her last 15 years and however many more are imposed on her as a result of this unfortunate political opportunism.
