no, it should not. if you want to be absolutely positive then get it in writing. the termination of life should NEVER come down to hearsay even between spouses. it would be for your own protection and that of your husband. they are available online, it is hardly difficult to accomplish.

If someone feels strongly about that sort of thing, I can't see a reason not to put it in writing.

Life is filled with things you think you'd never do, and you may not really know what you'd want in a certain situation until you're in it. I don't suppose I would want to live the way she's living, but on the other hand, if my family wanted me and I knew it, I think that might make the difference.
