That maybe technically true.

Maybe? It is true, in fact.

Indeed, I read on FR that the Schindlers first found out about Michael's out-of-wedlock "wife" and "family" when they read the obituary of Michael's mother: Gee, I wonder if the fact that by that time the Schindlers and Michael had not spoken to each other in years had anything to do with it?

Knock, knock: I was pointing out that in his obituary notice for his mom, Michael didn't mention Terri, he mentioned that his mom was survived by "Michael and his fiance". No mention of his lawful wife. SICK SICK SICK. As Peggy Noonan wrote, he's a strane-o. As Ann Coulter wrote, he's wierd (or did she say "creepy", something along those lines)

"The Federal government is saying that a written directive is now required for my end of life decisions..."

Slight correction, they want a written directive AND noone with a "significant relationship" disputing it.

For a lawyer, I'm quite good at math actually. I do simultaneously equations to value real estate in California, where the sales price affects the property tax bill, which affects the net operating income, which affects the value, and do regression analyses on Excel in connection with finance as a hobby. So there! :)

Sure, fine, we'll just have a committee meeting to figure out what to do with her... "

Well, that's sure as hell what we've got now.

And anybody who has a living will can just tear them up.

I haven't heard Terry's sisters comments .. So I can't really comment on that

But I have heard Terry's brother say that there are unanswered questions about what happen the night of her collapse and that was why the family wanted an investigation

With that said .. If MS wants .. he is free to sue the family

He hasn't been shy about taking the family to court yet

No she does not have a court-appointed guardian. She has NO guardian; Ghoul Greer says her bigamist husband is her guardian.

When will the insurance company sue MS to return the money thatwas to be used for her rehabilitation?

That SCOTUS refusal to issue a ruling is not determinative of the veracity or sufficinecy of Michaels Schiavo's testimony.

Can you name me one case where the Supreme Court refused to hear a case where the state rulings didn't stand as law?

Thank you. His testimony may have been technically outside what the USSC refused to rule upon, and Greer may not even have given it much weight... but Greer still found in MS' favor.

Medical records from the hospital where Schiavo was treated after her collapse say that ''she apparently has been trying to keep her weight down with dieting by herself, drinking liquids most of the time during the day and drinking about 10-15 glasses of iced tea

Oh my God! Exactly what our society has become. Demented people who think it's just terrible for parents to attempt and save their daughter's life. I think this could be biblically defined as a "depraved mind" at work.

Because Congress will come along and make a law that invalidates it.

anybody who has a living will can just tear them up.

How do you figure that? The Schiavo problem only arose because there's NO living will. Where there's a livign will, there won't be this kind of ambiguity as to patient's wishes.
