The opening salvo in the Hillary Clinton versus John Kerry 2008 presidential campaign was fired on Thursday. One time Kerry supporter Ann Lewis is now director of communications for Hillary Clinton's political action committee, and she was the marksman (or would that be woman) that went after John Kerry.
(Newsday:)
The Kerry campaign had "a different message every two or three weeks," Lewis told the Forward, a weekly New York City-based newspaper aimed at a Jewish audience.
Lewis is quoted as saying the Kerry campaign "kept trying to rationally convince, to put a presidency together, line by line, plan by plan." She said people "don't vote for plans, they vote for presidents."
John Kerry has a knife in his back and The Associated Press quizzed Ann Lewis on her sudden turn away from Mr. Kerry. "I worked very hard for John Kerry's election," Lewis told the AP, saying she was "deeply sorry he lost."
Sure.
This is a patented move by the Clinton's, and expect to see it repeatedly as the years move towards 2008. They float a quick trial balloon through a spokesperson to see how their opponent will react, then deny any friction.
The strategy never changes with team Clinton.

It should be interesting to watch Hillary claw the snickers out of the junior Senator from MA.

The Kerry campaign had "a different message every two or three weeks," They noticed too? ...And all of those Dems that voted for him didn't realize they were being played?

Swillary has Russert on his knees too.
Notice the amount of time he spent interrogating Dr. Rice about her presidential ambitions.

"Barney Franks sister" Barney Frank's older brother rather.
She and Harold Ickes are the only two people I ever heard of who are so monumentally offensive and unappetizing that they had to be taken off television as spokespeople for the DemocRATS.
