If it were Clintoon or a lib in office I'd be pretty darned concerned. With Bush/Cheney/Rice/Rumsfeld, I feel about as secure as possible that smart and good, determined people are watching the big picture.
We'll be okay for 4 years. After that, we'll have to see. Hopefully the "problem" will have resolved itself by then :-)
Yes, long term, who knows? I have this idea that the President will try to get things in the best shape possible with long lasting positive consequences though.
