See the Gentleman in photo 7 (left to right), in front with the flag is named Kurt. I don't think he's a freeper. Very nice man, a Veteran. Anyhow, while I was pulling my gear together I was nearby -- a male twerp, older than me, came up to him and began asking him questions about when he served. I heard the click in my head as the twerp learned Kurt had served in the Gulf War; the twerp began the harangue: "That wasn't combat; you really didn't do much; Gulf War was like Panama.."

My head shot up, and I saw pure white, and I went after him.

The twerp came over simply to heckle and harass this wonderful vet. I don't recall what all I said; but the louder he got the more I got in his face.

I just remember telling him to get on over to his side of the street since he couldn't play nice; He instantly turned on me and began calling me foul names while I chased him off our turf; I remember him calling me a F*** C** B***" -- and my saying . "that's the best you've got?? -- that's it? That's your ammo, your stand????"

He'd turn call me more names, turn and make for the street with me in hot pursuit while still on his case, he'd stop and call me names while I took his footspace away even more, and he'd retreat again. Maybe it was my cowboy boots... Anyway, I looked up just in time to see a very angry officer pulling this twerp into the street.

This twerp had not come over to "dialogue". He'd not come over to have a civil conversation or even civil disagreement with Kurt. He came to count coup with a definite goal in mind: to belittle a fellow citizen, AND a vet's service to our country. That just wouldn't do or be allowed to happen, in my books...

Anyway, Upchuck came up asking me if I'd like a chill-pill. Beleg thought it was funny - that I was a mamabear ready to maul this twerp and from where he was seeing it happen, Beleg said it looked like the police were removing the twerp for his own protection.

I never cussed or threatened him. I just knew I wanted him "away" from Kurt.

It just didn't upset me; I wanted the twerp "away". That's all I knew. And once he was "away"; I was ready to play again. Case over.
