I think the judge feels that he is above scrutinty in part because he was reelected with 65 perdent of the vote in 2004. This judge will never back down.

You maybe right, but the Feds, if they want to, can unleash a hell of scrutiny on this guy, and from a couple of reports here that indicate there is a cabal of self-interest surrounding the lawyer and the hospice outfit, it could be enough to get this guy to step down.

We'll be lucky if that's the worst of it. He has the power, right now, to authorize the hospice to terminate Terri's life by an overdose of drugs. He may not wait for Monday, and in fact it's in his best interest to make the whole dispute moot. May God protect her!
