I hate to have to disagree with you (and be labeled pro-death) but I wouldn't want my husband to have to suspend his life for 40 years if there is no hope for me returning back to my old way of life.
I'm not degrading anyone. I'm stating facts. I would not want to spend thirty years with strangers and family wiping my ass. I've said that's my opinion and those are my wishes. I believe there are things worse than death. Obviously, you don't. So be it.
