She can't have one because of the stimulator that were implanted when she was taken to California in November 1990 for experimental therapy. The stimulator have metal in them and she cannot have a MRI. She can have a CAT Scan.

On another thread I read that the stimulator can be removed - in fact, the doctor who inserted it recommended that it be removed and MS wouldn't allow that to happen either.
