Every one of them said she performed functions that according to Florida Law a patient in a persistent vegetative state cannot perform. If any of them gave her the label of PVS, it's irrelevent. Florida Law does not recognize any definition of PVS other that the definition written into Florida Law.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, MD, said last night on the Senate floor it didn't appear to him from the video that she was in any kind of "persistent vegetative state" as she is responsive.

He said it "bothers me greatly that she's never had a thorough neurological exam".

He cited affidavits from fifteen doctors that she is not in "any kind of a state" and I had to think what has brought this man to this position at this time.

He is obviously qualified, articulate, passionate, and courageous--and he's the Senate Majority Leader.

Ditto Tom Delay who said "no swamp judge is going to defy Congress".

All the shills of Soros, all the media megaphones for murder, may call a pig a dog, but it will never hunt.

I think we have taken a considerable first step in judicial reform and restoring the sanctity of life in the eyes of the law.

I am honored to be among such undaunted courage.
