Do we call for a withdrawal of the feeding teat the first time the baby shows discomfort and cries?

It could very well come to that, the criteria being whether the baby is still wanted or not, and if the cause of the crying is due to some genetic defect not caught and gotten rid of pre-birth, then there will be a selection process because we little gods have to make this world perfect, and defectives need not apply.

Eventually legally blind people will be inducted into the selection process . . .

Everybody has a genetic imperfection. I guess the last one to go will have to off their own lights.

It won't go that far. I'm being sarcastic.

Well stated. You may use all the sarcasm you want. With genetic design just around the corner, I wonder what prospects there will be for the "mistakes?"
