This happens hundreds of times every day. Ordinarily, it causes no controversy.

It certainly isn;t somethying people are reticent to discuss.

With a huge determining factor being whether grandma has any assets to be lost to the cost of an extended nursing home stay. Wouldn't you say?

Deplorable...but legal.
