IMO, the republicans are doing the right thing for all the wrong reasons.....but it's the right thing to do.

How do you sentence to death a living innocent person.

"How do you sentence to death a living innocent person."

I appreciate your thoughts and no doubt many have the same question on their minds.

After much reading of what those supposedly in the know say, the experts, it comes down to this, a formerly living human being has been reduced to a permanent vegetative state, PVS.

This is a valid medical term indicating that a person may have some activity in their lower brain stem, the part that is responsible for the automatic responses, but doesn't have the use of the cerebral cortex.......the part that makes us human and separates us from a plant.

Various radiology test indicate parts of her brain have liquefied, as a result of oxygen starvation, the most important parts. The odds of her recovering are nil and any continued feeding will only serve to keep some semblance of a person functioning.

Bottom line, she is no more being starved to death than when a person forgets to water their tomato plant.

Please forgive me if this sounds crude. Were I to believe she was a living human being I would not state it as such.

Her soul, God Bless her, is in heaven and not here on earth. Let everyone contemplate the words Grace and Mercy and each find his or her way through this trying time.

Lastly, "Let death be not Proud."
