A CAT scan is worthless in diagnosing brain damage because the resolution is not clear enough.Terri should have already had an MRI done to examine her brain in detail.

And that is what the diagnosis of PVS and the statement about a missing cortex is based on, is it not?

(Her cortex is gone and in it's place is 2100 ml. of spinal fluid. Not 2101, or 2099, but 2100. Since a true measurement cannot be done, this in itself is very suspicious.)
