I have maintained for many years that I do not want to be around any cops when firearms are being handled. The last cop I trust with guns retires this week. It is a sad day for me. In the event you find yourself near a cop with a draw weapon, get away as fast as you can, unless of course it is pointed at you and then there is only a small chance you would be hit even if they shoot at you.

I had the misfortune to have an LEO conducting a Pennsylvania CCW class I was attending (You need either an LEO or a lawyer conduct the "what is the applicable law" segment, so most of the time an LEO does the whole thing).

After removing mag and ejecting the chambered round in his duty gun, he proceeded to demonstrate a point which had him sweeping the entire class with the muzzle of his gun. I was not happy.

I was on a ride along about ten years ago...and these units were looking for a forgery suspect. Anyway, the Sgt I was hanging with stopped by on the perimeter...and in about three seconds some lady deputy was pointing her Beretta at me!

It didnt really hit me until a little later....when I got weak in the knees.

The Sgt said she was just out in the field that past week. I said she should be put back in the custody division.
