Does anyone know what the true numbers are on this case. I have heard 2 million, 1 million, $700,000 now $800,000 plus $640,000.

Why is it that something as simple as getting the numbers on a the settlement straight can't even be accomplished.

Can anyone point me to some documents/articles that show these numbers?

The most consistent numbers I have seen are the ones Wolfson gives.

Terri's first doctor - I think he was her regular doc - was sued for not recognizing her bulimia. He settled out of court, giving the Schiavos $250,000. (the medical board later said he had not been negligent, though)

The infertility clinic was sued for 20-30 million for the same thing (the Schindlers helped and testified for Michael in that trial). The jury found them guilty, but after subtracting 70% of their award to account for what they considered Terri's culpability, awarded ~$750,000 to a trust fund for Terri's care.

They awarded $300,000 to Michael for his loss of consortium.
