God help us see what is happening to this great nation before our very eyes.... We are descending into darkness. God help us indeed.

Terri die many years ago. Keeping her alive now just prevents her from walking with a loving God. Let her go if that is her wish.

Let her go if that is her wish. And that is what we don't know, my friend. So murder is not the answer.

"Terri die many years ago."
Nonsense. Terri is ALIVE and wants to live. She is being STARVED TO DEATH.

You don't think she's walking with a loving God now?

All these stupid people that are taking Michael Schiavo's word that Terri would want to die like this...it is in fact that MS didn't even bring this up until after he got $$$$ some 7 years later and then got his brother and sister in law to testify that she said this. I would bet that she never said "I don't want a feeding tube", and people say things all the time, but it doesn't mean that when it comes time they really want to be held to that. If they do, they would be putting it in writing!

Never understood why the left is so against the humane exercise of the death penalty (lethal injection) on a convicted murderer, yet so pro the cruel and torturous death of a poor defenseless woman whose only fault is that she needs to be looked after?

AMEN The only thread of consistency: the left against the death of murderers (anti-death-penalty) and terrorists (anti-war), but for the death of invalids and the unborn.
Life for the guilty, death for the innocent. Bass ackwards.

Gosh, I'll bet she's hungry already - I wonder what kind of excruxiating pain that entails??
Or she would be if she was aware - nevermind.

Seriously.
Did you read the article a few days ago against the executions in Iran? Now THAT'S barbaric. This is ever worse. I'd rather be whipped, beaten, stabbed and hung than slowly starve to death. I can't believe this is happening in America. Someone needs to step in - Congress, State Government, anyone - and stop this.

It's ironic that someone from northern Europa would post an opinion like this. After all, northern Europa is the birthplace of widespread euthenasia. Holland, one of the few countries in the world to embrace drug use also leads the world in green haired and purple haired people. Legal marijuana shops, legal prostitution? Go to Amsterdam. This is a laughable post.

If Michael Schiavo is granted his wish and Terri dies, then Scott Peterson should be set free.

It aint murder at all. She didnt WANT to be on life support! You've heard of the "Do unto others" rule? I certainly wouldn't want to be a frothing at the mouth vegetable and a financial nightmare to my family for years and decades on end. I've already said to my family if I end up in such a predicament, they have to let me die in peace and with dignity. Its amazing how so many freepers here lament on the "hell" that exists on earth, and then in the next sentence assert their desire to KEEP her in said Hell! Heaven is awaiting her, with billions of archangels and you clowns want to keep her from it.
Amazing.

I wished I hadn't picked up the phone tonight. My Mom called and we were talking and I said something about at least something good happened today, Terri isn't being starved to death. Last I has heard the Judge wasn't responding and based on that technicality the tube remained in place.
What the hell happened?
This is devestating.
