Yes, these "brain dead" people can be very tricky, desparately wanting to live, receive rehab, and all that.
You have to be a devoutly Roman Catholic, faithful husband like Michael, or a reasonable, honest judge like Greer to "know" the true intentions of Terri.

I thought Michael wasn't Catholic. I know Terri is, so him denying her Extreme Unction is literally denying her the faith she grew up with.

And you are being a bit obtuse in ignoring that persons in a persistent vegetative state CAN and often DO respond to outside stimuli (see my post above above)...the question is whether it's a conscious response....You may already know this, but just to ensure the record is clear to other readers, Michael is not a devout Roman Catholic. He was Protestant and we assume he and Terri were married in a Catholic church. Catholic by marriage, but DEVOUT, I DOUBT.
