"If you believe that lie"

Fair enough. Have attorney Barbara Weller take a lie detector test about it then . What will you say if she passes it?

This story should be shouted from the rooftops. Can it be used to stop this murder? And for the public, the million dollar questions are :

WHY CAN'T SOMEONE JUST GO INTO TERRI'S ROOM AND CHECK THIS OUT?

SHE'S BRAIN DEAD, SO WHY CAN'T SHE BE FILMED OR PHOTOGRAPHED?

WHY CAN'T SHE BE SEEN IN PUBLIC?

I can't believe this is happening in the United States of America. I feel like I woke up this morning in an episode of "The Twilight Zone".

This case makes me sick. It is just so gross the way people are trying to have Terri tortured and murdered by starvation/dehydration. If we have become this hard hearted and coldblooded, I think we are finished.

I pray that those who have the power to save Terri, will make the effort to save her.

Then you are calling Father Frank Pavone a liar.

So be it. If he says Terri spoke, then he's a liar.

We trust attorneys now?

Gee, calls for bigger government AND trust in attorneys all in one day....what is my Republican party turning into here?

Did I type in DU by mistake?

Kidnapping is a serious charge with serious consequences but people have kidnapped before and will again.
Death is more serious and the consequences of death are much more serious than prison terms, fines, etc.
If this was my child there would be no hesitation in deciding that the more important issue would be to save my child and the kidnapping prison term would be in my future. If they could get her to a place they would be undisturbed for a week or so, they could have her swallowing (since she already swallows saliva as per Doctor
V. Gambone's testimony in Judge Greer's court)and this feeding tube issue was go away and Terri could live. I wonder what Michael's response would be? I think he would try to kill Terry.
What do you think?
Sherry

So be it. If he says Terri spoke, then he's a liar.

First, an apology. I was caught up in the emotion of yesterday, so I should not have been so hotheaded.

I spoke with someone today, Jim Sedlak, who disputed that Terri spoke I want yesterday.

He is hoping that this was recorded. If so, then that would end the argument. Otherwise, I must conced it.

What Jim claims, on reliable authority, is that her parents have taught, in a very crude way, to say yes or no -- something like "yyyeeeehhhhh" or "nnnaaaahhh", and maybe you would have to be used to Terri saying that to realize she is saying "yes" or "no".

But a more interesting thing that Jim Sedlak said was that the parents, very early on, conceded that Terri was in a PVS, which she is not.

What apparently is broken in our legal system in that someone is a courtroom can "concede" something about a medical condition, and it cannot be appealed.

Sort of like Glenn Cunningham and the 4 minute mile...

Glenn was told he would never walk again, but he came very close to being the first to the 4 minute mile.

The analogy is that if Glenn Cunningham had something from 2nd grade that said he could not ever walk again, and the parents let that slide in courts, then they would strike his records from the record books because someone who cannot walk cannot set records in the mile run.

That is what is really stupid about this.

Congress has announced a deal, wooooooooooohoooooooo.

Bush is cutting his vacation short to come back so he can sign it as soon as he gets it.

Keep praying, it isn't over yet.

Protesters should be applauded for their couragous acts. What exactly is the fines/penalties for conspiring to save a human life?? and attempting to care for the hungry and neglected??

Protester David Vogel was actually arrested for trespassing when he tried to enter the hospice to administer Holy Communion to Terri. (Faced arrest for trying to deliver bread and water to the door of the hospice)

Protesters Bo Gritz (former Green Beret commander and decorated Vietnam War veteran) and Loen Richie were also arrested for trespassing. (Two people were taken into police custody after trying to enter the hospice, saying they wanted to perform citizen's arrests on those involved in withholding food from Ms. Schiavo.)

Not as bad as the FACE act. There is mandatory jail time for that and $10,000 fine. This is for saving a baby's life. But we have killed 40+ million babies in the US in 1973, so why not start killing off the disabled and the elderly...

Yeah, what a crock. 1,000 soldiers are killed in a war and they act like it's the end of the world yet it is perfectly alright to slaughter 40+ million babies with out a second thought. I really don't understand that mindset at all. Why are they so worried about having enough money to have social security, medicare, prescriptions for the elderly, why not just put a maximum age when they become not human anymore, just like their minimum (9 months) age when they don't consider babies to be human. Which always makes me wonder, do they think they are kittens? or puppies??

Careful now, it would be considered inhumane to hurt a kitten or a puppy. [But not in-human-e to hurt a human].

If abortion was not legal, we might have 40+ million either of age contributing to social security or will come of age to contribute -- which would ease Social Security problems.

But the Democrats have been killing off supporters with abortions -- statistics have shown that Al Gore would have won in 2000 if abortion was illegal.

Similarly with the elderly and disabled, many of them support the Democratic party.

This is totally insane of them...

Wow, you are good. Killing off their own, I hadn't thought of it that way, lol. Excellent points.

So in essence the democrats screwed up Social Security, lol. What a fun thought. Maybe that is why they claim there is no problem with Social Security, maybe they have a plan to start killing off the disabled and elderly before the baby boomers hit retirement age. Shrewd little party aren't they. lol.
Thanks,
Sherry

I think you are right. If she were my child I would probably have already gotten her out of there and away to a safe haven. I "think" with my emotions when it comes to the welfare and safety of my family in something like this. No judge or so called "husband" would put my child to death.

To always trust a husbands judgment is to assume all husbands use good judgment in all cases. The same with parents.
If you consider each side and the decisions each side has made, I see way too many bad decisions made by the husband in the past.

Not allowing any therapy, not allowing visitors unless forced to, not allowing antibiotics, orders to keep the shades drawn all the time, orders for no TV, no radio, nothing on the walls, no pictures or anything else in the room on the walls or on tables, not allowing the parents to know about medical issues, not mentioning her supposed want to die until 3 months after he received the 2.5 million in the malpractice suit (which he promised to use for therapy and other medical issues for Terri for the remainder of her life and then applied to Judge Greer for it to be used for his attorney bills in the fight to let her die), not to mention dating and moving in a new woman and producing 2 kids with her and refusing to divorce Terri. Then there is the issue of the insurance company that lists Michael schiavo as an officer and his home address as the company's primary address, "the word "InsurNAce" (spelled wrong) instead of InsurANce". The company name JERGER & CENTONZE INSURNACE AGENCY, INC. (his new woman's name is Jodi CENTONZE) has a date of 01/09/01 on what looks to me to be an article of incorporation document. And of course there is the 14.6 million that the US government has been trying to collect from Suncoast Hospice (the specific hospice Terri is in) for Medicaid fraud. The fraud occurred during the time when George Felos (Michaels Attorney) was the chairman of Suncoast hospice and continued after he resigned as chairman, which was just shortly before Terri was moved there. The Medicaid fraud was instances of that hospice illegally accepting patients (like Terri) that are not terminal and providing false certification from that hospice stating they are terminal. Of course Michael's request to place Terri on Medicaid was approved by Judge Greer which allowed Michael to use I believe it was almost half of Terri's malpractice settlement for attorney fees to Felos instead of for Terri's care.

I don't see where Michael's judgment something to write home to mother about.

but alot of us do believe that she is beyond rehabilitation at this point.

If she's beyond rehabilitation, so what? She's a brain-damaged woman who is NOT DYING. So she should not be killed.

I don't, either. When the House and Senate hear all of that, and if they have, well they do have doctors in their midst, when they hear about the sensory deprivation, well, the manure will hit the fan. All of that sounds a lot like conspiracy to commit fraud to me, as well as a lot like something even worse. Greer, Felos, and Michael should be sharing prison cells for many years to come. Wonder what their fellow inmates would think of them if they were to hear the details and see films of Terri? It should be fun in the old jail house. Gotta love prison justice.
