I guess I was not clear. Our judges here in Fla. are subject to election. The voters keep re-electing the judges, so the legislature can't do much about it.

And if we are to believe polls, a majority of Floridians think this action is just fine. God help us all. I have little doubt if that n*zi Greer were to stand for reelection today he would win. Then in the future when people deemed unfit start getting executed we'll see what the reaction of the populace is.

It doesn't matter if judges are elected or appointed (which merely means they are elected by fewer people). Every legislature in the country can remove a judge.
