What I want to know is, why are they appealing the Texas judge, instead of sending a US marshall to the hospice to protect their witness? A Fla. Superior Ct. judge has no authority to kill a witness in a congressional inquiry.

Oops, I mean Fla. judge. A Texas judge would never do what Greer is doing.

US Marshall's are not controlled by the Legislative or Executive Branch of the US Government. They are controlled by the Judicial Branch.
