That exact same thing is precisely relevant to each and every thread where it is posted. It is an effort to distribute it to as many FReepers as possible today. And considering that not all FReepers see all those threads, what's the harm? Would you also complain if it was a picture, rather than text ??? ;-))
You're not suppose to SPAM threads, but obviously you're message is more important than anybody else's on FR.
