This is why I don't plan on starting a Young Republicans Club anytime soon. This particular party owns the power in Texas and still find justification for being liberal too often. Depressing. Please contact Craddick and express your disappointment.

A cautionary warning to my friends in Texas from a Californian regarding a state income tax. California has one. If you get one, it must have built in spending limits as well as a sunrise provision (why is it needed), a sunshine provision (is it being spent on the needs as stated in the sunrise provision) and a sunset clause to kill it if it gets out of control and it will (as it has in California).
