Nice loaded question. Just because Terri is in vegetative state does not mean she lost her right to refuse medical treatment.
That's the whole issue here. The parents say they don't care about Terri's wishes. Even if Terri had a written directive asking to remove the tubes, her parents testified they will never listen to Terri's wishes.
The courts listened to the parents and their witnesses [or read transcripts of their testimony]. Then the courts listened to the husband and his witnesses [or read transcripts of their testimony]. Finally, the courts decided that there was "clear and convincing evidence" of Terri's wishes.
And You sound like an easy guy to sell the Brooklyn Bridge to as well.
