What is even more amazing and powerful doug is the will to live and seeing the look on a doctor's face later after he already said you had absolutely no chance at survival.

Terri has not given up the fight and neither should we. The fact that she is alive and communicates is evidence enough of her will to live.

People in situations such as Terri's die only when they lose the will to live.

Please write a brief essay on your experience, and post it.

What an amazing story! I'm so glad you recovered.

"The fact that she is alive and communicates is evidence enough of her will to live"

Absolutely. If she weren't a fighter she probably would have developed serious physical medical problems long ago. I'm no expert but it seems to me that people who are incapacitated for a long time do.

I don't advocate this, but the screenplay would have the following:

Judge Greer did not show up for work this morning and his staff became concerned. At 9:30 AM, they received a note claiming that the judge had been kidnapped. For every day that Terri doesn't eat, the judge doesn't eat.
