Given that it is contempt to interfer with the subpoena can US Marshalls interven to keep her in protective custody - perhaps like they did in the Ellian Gonzalez case there in Florida?

I don't know a whole helluva lot about legislative subpoenas but if a federal court thought a witness was in jeopardy, there's no doubt he or she would be in the custody of the US Marshalls.
