Thank you for the live link.
Bears repeating.
We can surmise he is an amnesiac, too, from the way he 'suddenly' remembered Terri didn't want to be kept alive in her condition.. after he won her lawsuit.
Maybe that is the new cure for amnesia -- winning a lawsuit.
Doctor to amnesia patient: "Win one lawsuit and call me in the morning."
I just called her and asked. She says "if Christ suffered, why shouldn't I?"
Another unpopular issue is Hospice's interest in being written into the wills of people who go there to receive "end of life care." Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. And I know they have cultivated the most reverent public opinion; but that's all that is.
PRESS RELEASE:
MARCH 18. 2005
2:00 PM EASTERN TIME
Where did you get this?
TIA
....Kenneth W. Goodman, co-director of the Florida Bioethics Network and head of the University of Miami Bioethics Program..... said the legislation would create barriers for people who want to control the end of their lives.
It also "misjudges" the medical use of artificial nutrition and hydration tubes, which are intended to be used as a "bridge" when someone suffers a debilitating medical problem until they can get better, he said. Goodman said those devices are not intended to be permanent."
------
In our case, our baby was on a NG which is a tube through the nose and down into the stomach. Inserting an NG tube is not fun for baby or Dad. And it was also causing "keeping formula down" problems. We switched to the g-tube feeding tube precisely because we thought there was good chance it would be permanent. This was 5 years ago. In our case it now looks like we will be able to wean him off of it.
Anyone who has spent any time in a Children's Hospital has seen kids in specially equipted wheelchairs that are going to be on feeding tubes for life. They have portable pumps now so you can be up and about while being fed if you are mobile.
It was probably in his last ruling. Along with "Congress can't say I'm not God."
Oh God...
They pulled her feeding tube...
Prayers lifted..
Ms.B
Hello.. congress can override anything they darn well please..this guy isn't God.
Niehbors reported violent arguments and fights between the couple in the weeks leading up to her "accident?" fifteen years ago and many nurses he would ask why she hadn't died yet.
True.
I did to. God is in total control and Terri is in God's hands. We need to pray, and pray!
Especially when there IS evidence of previously broken bones in her body.
Time for those of us who support Terri to start fasting.
Yikes!
You're not married to Margaret.
You and your spouse are very lucky. May you never understand just how lucky.
"I WANT TO LIVE"
Why do I think the MSM won't report that?
