If she were a parent or a teacher, or someone in a position of authority I would agree, but to him she was nothing but a crazy lady who was blocking his car.
And to her, he was another disrespectful, a-hole kid. A pretty stupid one at that. What kind of kid is going to watch a lady chase a group of kids with a tire-iron and then tell her to move her car? And then, after she warns him to stand down, he decides he's going to throw in one last a-hole comment?
Sounds like a real innocent boyscout to me! Yeah right....
And now he knows how stupid it is to be sarcastic with a crazy woman brandishing a tire iron and pepper spray. He owes this lady. An object lesson like that might save his life some day.
