If China's economy tanks, ours won't be far behind.

Only because it will force them to sell all those Treasury notes they're holding, thus pulling the rug out from under the US dollar.

Yep, and every other national bank will dump the bonds also. We don't have the manufacturing base to survive like we did in the 30's.
