Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that we cannot see the battle that rages in the Heavenlies as the forces for evil contend with the forces for good. Yet we get a glimpse as we see the forces from both sides gather around the room of this mother's child. The darkness is overpowering, O God, yet darkness cannot stand in the presence of light. We continue to pray for the life of this mother's child, even when all avenues of hope seem to be disappearing. Yet You are God. In Your hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. You empowered David to be victorious over the mighty Goliath. You winnowed the numbers to the fewest before directing Gideon to act. You had the widow appear before the unrelenting judge numerous times before he rendered justice. We know not Your plan, Merciful Father ... we know only that You are God. We know only that Terri is powerless before the onslaught. Send that one, O God, who will snatch her from the grip of the enemy. We have tried, and we cannot. But You are God, and our trust is in You. In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
