To: Halls

If DeLay walked out on Terri, then we should walk out on DeLay. I understand the Austin D.A. has plans for DeLay: so he is probably pre-occupied. I always thought that we could trust DeLay: too bad, too sad.

I think I will probably take a 2 wk. vacation that covers the '06 election day. I really did not think that DeLay would walk away from this. Maybe they did not have the votes in the house and were only willing to pass something by voice vote one time and take the heat. We are seriously outnumbered on this in every poll I have seen. I think a lot has to do with people not understanding what is going on. There are a lot of Freepers who don't seem to be able to comprehend that Terri is NOT terminal and thus, does not compare well to their wife, mother-in-law, etc. who died of cancer, and they think it is fine that her husband is making decisions for her. I hate to think that all of them think that killing Terri is ok with them and I don't want to believe that we are that far gone.
