Constitutional law is too often a course study about how to amend the Constitution through litigation. In fact, we had a law professor before the House Judiciary Committee who testified, "You give me a favorable judge and I will write law for the entire United States of America, in a single courtroom on a single case."
No religion was started or established by the erection of the 10c monuments. The testimony to this is that there is no official state or national religion.
If one is complaining about judeo/christianity being the dominant religion in our culture, and that is depicted everywhere, and that allusions to it permeate our lives, then ask if that is different than other cultures where some religion or movement is dominant.
If I move to a town populated by Amish and then claim that Amish culture makes me uncomfortable or that I feel left out, then by all means, force them to adapt their culture to look like my preferences. Force them to remove all evidence of the existence of their culture, so that all looks like my perspective.
That's fair....right?

It's funny how many people say this. Of course the phrase "separate but equal" has nothing to do with the balance of powers.
