Lex and Terry Show to Give Pimped Shopping Cart to Homeless PersonFiled under Ads/Promotions
The Lex & Terry Show, a nationally syndicated morning radio program, known for contests like “Drunk Bitch Friday,” “Who’s more Pathetic” and “Your Ass Is Mine” (in which blindfolded contestants search for their spouses among a bunch of nude people — by groping), will be giving away a modified shopping cart to a homeless person.
The cart was tricked-out with $3000 worth of electronic equipment — including an LCD TV, AM/FM stereo-cassette, GPS, refrigerator, and lighting — as well as solar panels, a pull-out seat, a can crusher and a fold-away tent. These kinds of sophomoric stunts are part of the reason we have such a sick society. How these arrogant, moronic fools stay on the air is beyond me.
I would not want to be underwriting either the life or"homeowners" insurance for the winner of the cart.
Arthur Godfrey had a classier show than these two morons. He would have called 'Lex & Terry' by their proper names, but only after his mike was off.
It's garbage like this that gives radio broadcasting a bad name.
Couldn't they simply have printed up a sign that read "You are here."
Still not as bad as the "Smackfest" a Miami station held. In that contest, two women take turns slapping each other across the face until one backs down.
No kidding! I'd put their post-winning life expectancy at about 5 minutes.
