I read the following in the article; "He came bearing a notarized "citizen's arrest warrant" addressed to Florida Gov. Jeb Bush Attorney General Charlie Crist. He said his intent is to "papering" state and federal law enforcement offices with his warrant today – a day before Circuit Court Judge George Greer has ordered the denial of food and water to Terri Schiavo.

Gritz says the "arrest" is designed to allow officials additional options as the Florida governor and legislature maneuver to save the woman from starvation."

Where does it say anything about a shootout? Where do you see in the history of Ruby Ridge that Bo Gritz was involved in any kind of a shootout?

I too, was an admirer of Bo Gritz at one time..
That no longer holds...
It ended about '98, '99...

The issue is not legality, but public opinion. Which will not be helped in this case if the pro-Terry side becomes associated in the media with Christian Identity, white supremicists, neo-nazis, racists and/or anti-semites.

No they were not, he just pushed his way in. Atleast in the Randy Weaver situation.

most of the folks the news media were showing as the white supremists were just good Idaho folks who did not like the way the feds were handling it.

As it turned out they werte right.

The Bo Gritz involvement made Senator Larry Craig almost overlook the extreme wrong that was done there.

Thank God he and Helen Chenoweth took a stand against what happened.
