When California Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer ruled that California's ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional on Monday the gay marriage supporters cheered. But their victory and good feelings will likely be short lived.
This decision has fired up the political conservatives and the Evangelicals and they will organize and prepare for battle. The Massachusetts High Court and its four black robed tyrants probably believed they were doing supporters of gay marriage a favor when they allowed gay marriage in that state last year.
They weren't.

Everything the whacked-out LIBERAL FRINGES touch, turns to crap. It is sad that real Californians let the liberals take over this state's government --- which has just spawned the LIBERAL ACTIVISM in the courts --- all this WHILE THE STATE COLLAPSES FINANCIALLY, EDUCATIONALLY AND DEMOGRAPHICALLY. The typical LIBERAL TOUCH OF DEATH.
It really does stink. And it is tragic.

Our founding fathers would have been surprised. A Constitution designed to provide a government respecting common values is now invoked to avoid values altogether. We've become so concerned with individual rights that we ignore the common good. One person, any individual, can assert his own perceived interests and bully the rest of society. Who decides what;'s right or wrong, what's moral or immoral? In a free society, these responsibilities are supposed to belong to us, not an obscure legal proceeding brought about by self-interested individuals.
We have to keep asserting our beliefs. Homosexuality is practiced by the depraved and perverted. Homosexuality is unnatural, immoral, and fraught with adverse health affects.

When we get a constitutional amendment on the ballot, it will pass. The militant gay lobby bit off more than it could chew. Our liberal State Legislature was set to legalize same sex marriage through the democratic process. But no - they couldn't wait - they had to have it now. And what they will get will be precisely the opposite of what a Superior Court judge just awarded them.

We've become so concerned with individual rights that we ignore the common good. Except when they invoke "the common good" in order to violate individual property rights.

You're right. When I say "the common good" I'm talking about society as a whole and in the context of what I wrote I was talking about the total disregard for the majority to please one or two.
