The DA can't appeal a not guilty verdict as there's that pesky "double jeopardy" fifth amendment thing.
Thank God for that. Could imagine going to trial over and over again after being found not guilty because you made the DA look like an idiot and he wants revenge. Thank you fifth amendment.
And guess what? If this case had been tried in the Peoples Republic of Canada, and the jury had found Blake not guilty, the prosecution (i.e. 'the Crown') DOES have the right to try the defendant again, as many times as they want, UNTIL they get the verdict they want.
