You know...it's weird, but I kind of feel the way Hildy does on this. Not that I want him to get away with murder if he did it (it seems from what I know he did), but I can't work up getting upset if he's found not guilty.
I'm not *hoping* for a not guilty verdict. I'm curious what the verdict will be.

I have no feeling either way. What little I've followed of this case could be posted in 4 sentences or less.
My understanding is that Bonnie was a despicable person. But when I thought that freepers were saying it was okay to kill her or get away with it, I was stunned.
It seems I read the post incorrectly.

I think that Hildy is way ahead of the curve, IMHO - and my reason for thinking Blake is innocent is because I listened to him defying his lawyers who wanted him to just shut up and make no statements, to saying that he did not commit the crime, he stated that he was placing his faith in God, i.e., 'I let God down many times, but He has never let *me* down', and while I've been wrong before, I don't think I'm wrong about Blake in this instance. While he may well have considered having B.L.B. bumped off, I don't think that he was actually capable of it, because he would be killing the mother of his child, and even as a rotten mother, B.L.B. was still the mother of that little girl.
As a closing thought, I remember watching Gary Busey in all of his glory on Larry King not long after B.L.B. was shot, telling King that he absolutely believed that Blake was innocent, because committing murder was just not something that Blake 'his friend' was capable of.
Hey, in less than 15 minutes, everyone can either say 'wow Hildy, MadMammoth, etc., you called it right', OR - you nice people can flame us and chortle for the rest of the night about it, LOL ;)
