Sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you. I believe the investigation has been reviewed and discussed to death. There is no evidence of abuse or neglect. Don't you think her doctors would have used anything available in the defense of the malpractice cases?

Apparently the Appeals Court, the Florida Supreme Court, and the US supreme Court disagree with you. Are you an attorney?

It is a shame that elected officials cannot construct ironclad language.

No, Florida Law does not allow next of kin to substitute their own wishes for those of the patient. It specifically forbids it. Florida Law also requires that her estranged husband be removed as her guardian due to his conflicts of interest. Florida Law forbids the removal of a feeding tube from a patient in Terri's condition. Florida Law forbids the denial of food and water taken orally. Florida Law forbids the denial of therapy, mobility, sensory stimulation... There's a long list of laws that are being broken.

Do you reckon that person knew what was going on too?

Stupid question. No he didn't know and could not know.

The use of the word bastard in this forum was as a disparaging description of Michael and Jodi's children. The children are innocents and do not deserve to be dragged into this. The legal use of the word is undeniable, but the use of the word in popular society has gone the way of the horse and buggy.
You are right about this subject... one for another forum.

All doctors agreed, only one quack thought he could work with her.

Again, you are right and the Court, Appeals Courts, Florida Supreme Court, and the US Supreme Court are all wrong. Are you an attorney?

"Wow! I wonder how long this has been going on? You're number 52 right between *winstar1k; jackibutterfly; Saundra Duffy*. I'm stunned!! Please let me know how long it's been since you've gotten them. I ping several times in a day."

Could you explain how this works? Maybe I'm missing something or don't know what to look for. Thanks a lot.

"ugh-hugh" (meaning yes) "ugh-ugh" (meaning no)

Strongly recommend these two be deleted from the forwarded list.

The facts I have cited are public record. You still haven't explained how you know what's in the sealed records. Are you an attorney?

If they knew about it. Dr Walker wasn't asked for a deposition until 2003. Likewise, Dr Hamilton, an orthopedic surgeon that was consulted shortly after Terris collapse , also slid under the radar until 2002. You read Greers ruling, no investigation.

November 21, 2003, deposition (excerpts) taken from Dr. Walker, a board-certified radiologist at Manatee Memorial Hospital

The full deposition is here: DR. WALKER'S DEPOSITION-----11/21/2003

There is no evidence of abuse or neglect.

In this PDF, it states she's had no dental care for 11 years. It's a good read.

New Petition to Judge Greer to Remove Michael Schiavo as Guardian (Guardianship - January 11, 2005)

"What michael did last time was absolutely illegal and he should be in jail for it, witholding water and food."

So should Greer - he made the "ruling".

Judge Greer is a devout Christian

"A year later, in April 2001, her death by dehydration was ordered to begin, and the day her feeding was stopped her brother and sister came by with a spoon and a cup of pudding, asking a nurse to try to feed her by mouth."

"The nurse refused and reported the request to others. When Schiavo found out he demanded that Bobby and Suzanne be removed fromthe list of approved visitors, and Greer rubberstamped his request" - World Net Daily
Judge Greer then lowers the boom on Bobby and Suzanne

"I don’t want anyone trying to feed that GIRL Greer thundered from the bench in 2001.
Greer’s statement, “the law of the case is that she is going to die”, is part of the court record.

Apparently the Appeals Court, the Florida Supreme Court, and the US supreme Court disagree with you.

Which proves what? The US Supreme Court has given us Roe v Wade and Dred Scott, two holdings which make certain human beings less than human.

The Florida Supreme Court tried to give us Al Gore as POTUS in violation of every law concerning elections on Floridas books.

Judge Greer simply ignores the law because he thinks Terri Schiavo should die. It has nothing to do with Florida's law becuase if he was interested in the law MS would not be Terri's guardian. Just another Judge ignoring lthe law and the Constitution and substituting their own views. He should be removed for cause.

Are you an attorney?

No, I pull my work boots on one at a time in the AM and off in the PM.

Now, are you gonna answer the damn question or not?

RE: you tagline's "Impeach Judge Greer"

I agree, but not until we free Terri.

All focus, energies, and wherewithal should be place on freeing Terri, impeachments should follow later. Time is of the essence and resources and action s/b concentrated on saving Terri's life.

Thank you for thoughful response. Obviously, we disagree on this fixation on Judge Greer.

Remember that Judge Greer's rulings have been reviewed many times by higher courts.

Furthermore, even though his judgments were not supposed to receive de novo review, Greer's rulings have been so carefully scrutinized that the appellate court admitted to conducting virtually de novo review of both the facts of the case and his opinions.

If I had to guess, I would say that a liberal Democratic judge would have had much less patience with the Schindlers than a conservative Republican judge.

All the legal minds that have discussed this case with me seem to think that Judge Greer went too easy on the Schindlers, but they could be wrong. I don't recall of any serious survey done of Florida judges and their opinions on the Schiavo case.

No, but I have stayed in a Holiday Inn. When the doctors including her doctors that lost the malpractice case and the courts up through the US Supreme Court agree, I trust them. But then, I believe in the right to refuse prolonging life by artificial means including feeding tubes. If you don't like that law, work to change it.
