Louisiana had the best marriage law but it was changed.
When a man married he was in charge of all assets.
There were several cases where a man would marry a woman who had property and would take out large mortgages on the property.
The money would be put in hidden accounts and he would get a divorce.
The property was the womens but she was stuck with the mortgage payments.

Perhaps you can explain what it is about the Louisana system you just decribed that made it "best"? Sounds like a raw deal to me. I don't see anything good about it.
