Translation: If Republicans carry out their nuclear option we are going to use our doomsday option.

Except that their 'doomsday' option is no more than a threat. Government can't grow if they shut down the Senate. It's a dream come true for conservatives if they appoint judges who will shut down unconstitutional crap anyway, because the Senate won't need to be open to get things fixed!
